However, although it is in a remote location, the villa is still within 20 minutes' drive of the centre of Nerja. In addition, there is the option to drive into the smaller resort of La Herradura, approximately 15 minutes' drive away. This lovely little resort offers a good range of beachside restaurants, shops, bars and small supermarkets. There are also two lovely secluded beaches at El Cañuelo and Cantarrijan (part of which is nudist) within a few minutes drive of the villa.
